PosAm, one of the largest and oldest IT companies in Slovakia, has undergone a significant change in leadership, thus marking a new chapter in the company’s operations on Slovak market.
After 30 years as the CEO, Marián Marek has handed over the leadership of the company to Maroš Čuchta.
Our brand-new CEO brings along over 25 years of international experience in information technology. He demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills while founding and building an IT innovation center for Takeda, one of the world’s top ten biopharmaceutical companies.
New Ambitions and Direction
The new CEO has a clear vision for PosAm’s further development. His goal is to firstly consolidate company’s product portfolio followed by an expansion onto foreign markets.
PosAm has extensive and profound experience in developing software solutions for sectors such as banking, insurance, transportation, public administration, and utilities. One example of the company’s innovations is the Field Service Management solution which uses artificial intelligence to manage fieldwork teams. Another strong area is end-user services, including computer and network management, where PosAm is working on modernizing and increasing the efficiency of services provided to large corporations.

Marián Marek remains as Non-Executive Director and Owner of the Company
Marián Marek will continue to be part of the company as its non-executive director and owner. He will thus be available to the new CEO as an advisor for strategic development and key business decisions.

Key Projects for Future Growth
In recent years, PosAm has focused on the development of two key projects with great potential for the international market. The first is a software solution that manages the daily work of hundreds of technicians and dispatchers in the field at ČEZ Distribuce, using advanced mathematical optimization and artificial intelligence. The second is the ParkDots parking system, which has become the most recognized brand and the most widely used solution for urban parking in Slovakia, with ambitions to expand abroad.
